In the Name of God Amen  This is the last Will and Testment of me Richard 
Darburn of the parish of Bisley in the County of Surrey Yeoman  I give and 
bequeath unto Sarah my beloved Wife and her heirs and assigns for ever All that my 
Freehold Messuage or Tenement Lanes and Premises with all the appurtenances 
thereunto belonging situate lying and being in the parish of Worplesdon in Surrey she 
paying out of the same all my just debts and funeral expences and one guinea apiece 
to my Son James and my Daughter Elizabeth Darburn in twelve months after my 
decease  I likewise give unto Sarah my beloved Wife all my household goods and 
moneys together with all my personal Estate called or known by any name or names 
whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be found she paying my just debts and 
funeral expences and those Legacies before by me given and I charge my whole 
Estate as above directed and I nominate and appoint Sarah my beloved Wife sole 
Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto this 
my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this tenth day of July in the year of 
our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty nine Richard Darburn his mark 
Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Testator to be his last Will and 
Testament in the presence of us who subscribed our names as witness in the presence 
of the testator

This Will of Richard Daborn otherwise Darburn late of the Parish of Bisley in the 
County of Surrey deceased was proved on the twenty seventh day of July 1789 before 
the Reverend Francis Brownfield Clerk a Surrogate by the Oath of Sarah Daborn 
otherwise Darburn Widow the Relict and sole Executrix to whom administration was 
granted she having been first sworn duly to Administer.
