This is the last Will and Testament of me William Geale of Bisley in the County of Surrey Gentleman First I direct all my just debts Funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently can be after my decease And I give and bequeath unto my Son James Geale all my wearing Apparel I also give and bequeath unto my said Son all my Household Goods and Furniture Nevertheless I desire him to permit my dear Wife Sarah to have the use of such Household Goods and Furniture during her natural life And I give and bequeath unto John Brant of Hatton Yard Hatton Garden in the County of Middlesex Coachmaker the Legacy or sum of ten Pounds But it is my Will and I direct that the sum of four pounds and ten shillings which I owe him shall be considered and taken as part of the said legacy or Sum of ten pounds And I give and bequeath all and every my rights credits ready monies securities for money and all other my personal Estate whatsoever not hereinbefore specifically bequeathed unto the xxxxxxxx xxxxxx and Henry Knowles of Horsell in the County of Surrey Yeoman (whom I hereby appoint Executor of this my Will) and to their Executors Administrators and Assigns Nevertheless Upon trust that they the said xxxxxxxx xxxxxx and Henry Knowles do and shall from and out of the said Personal Estate lay out and invest in their own names the Sum of Eighty pounds in or upon some good security at Interest and pay the interest and Dividends to arise therefrom as the same shall become due and payable unto my dear Wife for and during the term of her natural life And as to all the rest and residue of my said Personal Estate and effects including the said Sum of Eighty pounds so to be placed out at interest as aforesaid After the decease of my said Wife I give and bequeath one third part thereof unto my Daughter Ann Gates to and for her own use and benefit One other third part thereof unto my Daughter Sally Brant to and for her own use and benefit And the remaining third part thereof I direct my said Trustees and Executors to put place out and employ to and for the benefit and disposal of my Daughter Mary Longley in such way and manner as they shall think proper so that her present or any future Husband shall have no control over the same nor in anywise be subject to his debts or Engagements or to his contract for the sale thereof but that the receipt of my said Daughter Mary under her hand shall alone be a sufficient discharge for the payment of the same And I direct that my said Trustees and Executors shall and may from time to time reimburse themselves All costs charges and expenses which they may sustain inn the execution of the Trusts of this my Will In Witness whereof I the said William Geale have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal the twenty fourth day of August One thousand eight hundred and eighteen // William Geale Signed Sealed and published by the said William Geale as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us // J Rand Attorney Guildford Danl Smart Guildford. This Will of William Geale late of Bisley in the County of Surrey Gentleman deceased was proved on the thirtieth day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty two before the Reverend Henry Hammond Clerk Surrogate of the Worshipful John Poulter Bachelor of Law Commissary in and for the parts of Surrey lawfully constituted pending the annual visitation by the oath of Henry Knowls (in the Will written Knowles) the sole Executor named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted he having been first sworn duly to administer.
