In the name of God Amen  the eighteenth Day of November in the third year of the Reign of 
our gracious Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain France 
and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &t and in the year of our Lord God one thousand 
Seven hundred and twenty nine I George Kidder of Bisley in the county of Surrey Brick 
Burner being ancient and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind memory and 
understanding praised be to God in consideration of mortality Do make ordain and declare 
this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following hereby revoking and annulling 
all former and other Will or Wills by me heretofore made and this to be taken for my last 
Will and Testamt. And no other that is to say  First and principally I commend and bequeath 
my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and Redeemer hoping in and by the 
Reconsiliation of Jesus Christ to be saved and my body to the Earth from whence it came to 
be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as touching such 
temporal Estate as the Lord far above my deserts hath bestowed unpon me my Will and 
meaning is the same shall be employed and bestowed as hereafter in and by this my Will is 
expressed and Whereas by a Surrender bearing date the 26th Day of August Anno Dom 1728 
I have Surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the Mannor of Bisley aforesaid all my Lands 
lying within the Mannor and parish of Bisley aforesaid which I held by copy of Court Roll to 
the use of my last Will and Testament  Imprimis I therefore give devise and bequeath unto 
my Son John Kidder all my several pieces and parcels of Lands whatsoever and 
wheresoever the same may be found both copyhold and freehold and any other Lands 
whatsoever which I am anyways intitled unto with the Messuages or Tenements Buildings 
Edifices and all other of the Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or anyways 
appertaining situate lying and being within the parishes of Pirbright and Bisley aforesaid in 
the said County of Surry to remain and be to the sole use and behoofe of my said Son John 
Kidder his Heirs and Assigns for ever upon this condition that he my said Son John Kidder 
his Heirs or Assigns do and shall well and timely pay or cause to be paid out of Lands and 
Messuages or Tenements hereinbefore given him the Summe of Eighty pounds due from me 
to John Spong of Fowlers Well upon Bond and all Interest due for the same And also all 
such moneys which I have ????? upon ????? upon Surrender upon any of the said Lands 
Messuages or Tenements and all Interest for the same and thereof and therefrom save 
harmless and indemnifyed my Executrix hereinafter named  Item I also give and bequeath 
unto my Son John Kidder All that my Indenture of Lease with all the right property and term 
of years which I have therein to come in certain parcells of copy Ground which are leased 
from John Waterer Esqr.  Item I also give and bequeath unto my said Son John Kidder all 
the Goods Chattels and Credits which were late my Son George Kidders late of 
Worplesdon Brick burner deceased which I have since ad??ed unto upon this Condition 
that he my said Son John Kidder his Executors Administrators or Assigns do well and timely 
pay or cause to be paid out of the goods herein before given him unto my Daughter Joan 
Clifton the Wife of Edmond Clifton the summe of five pounds of lawfull British money 
within twelve months next after my decease and also that he the said John Kidder his 
Executors Administrators or Assigns doe and shall discharge and release the said Edmond 
Clifton from a certain debt due to the said John  Kidder from the said Edmond Clifton for a 
certain quantity of Hay of the value of about twenty seven pounds  Item I give and bequeath 
unto my said Son John Kidders five Children Elizabeth, John, George, Sarah and Mary 
five shillings a piece to be paid by my said Executrix within two year next after my decease  
Item I give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Joan Clifton Wife of Edmond Clifton five 
pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid by my said Executrix within two years 
next after my decease  Item I give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Joan Clifton's five 
Children Ann, John, George, Mary and Jane five shillings a piece to be paid by my said 
Executrix within two years next after my decease  Item I give and bequeath unto my 
Grandaughter Jane Field the Wife of Humphrey Field twenty pounds of good and lawfull 
money of Great Britain to be paid by my said Executrix within twelve months next after my 
decease  Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson John Bicknoll the like sum of twenty 
pounds of lawfull British money to be paid by my said Executrix within twelve months next 
after my decease  Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson and Grandaughter 
Elizabeth Bicknoll and George Bicknoll ten pounds apeice of lawfull British money to be 
paid by my said Executrix within two years next after my decease  Item all the rest of my 
Goods Chattels Cattels and Credits not hereinbefore given or bequeathed I give and bequeath 
unto my Daughter Susan Bicknoll widow and I do hereby constitute ordain and make my 
said Daughter Susan Bicknoll Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament she paying 
all the Legacys hereinbefore mentioned for her to pay and all my debts and Funerall and other 
Charges and Expences except the eighty pounds due to John Spong upon Bond and the 
Mortgages and Surrenders and Legacys above mentioned and ordered for my said Son John 
Kidder to pay  In Witness whereof I the said George Kidder have hereunto Set my hand and

published and declared by the said George Kidder for and as his last Will and Testament in 
the presence of us who have Subscribed our names as Witnesses in the presence of the

Be it remembered that the Will and meaning of me the within named George Kidder the 
Testator is my Son John Kidder within named his Executors Administrators or Assigns shall 
out of the Goods chattels and credits late my Son George Kidder's within given him pay and 
discharge all the debts which my said Son George Kidder did owe or was indebted at the time 
of his decease and all other charges that are or may grow due by means of any administration 
and thereof and therefrom save harmless and indemnifyed my Executrix within named  In 
Witness whereof I the Sd. George Kidder have also set my hand and Seal the same day year 
and time as I set my hand and Seal to my Will within written.  The marke of George Kidder
