This is the last Will and Testament of me James Burchett late Servant to Messrs. Whithead & Co. Chiswell Street in the Parish of Saint Lukes in the County of Middlesex Common Brewer but now residing in the Parish of Bisley in the County of Surrey as follows that is to say in the first place I direct that all such Debts as I shall justly owe at the time of my Decease together with my Funeral and Testamentary Charges and Expenses be fully paid and satisfied by my Exors hereinafter named I give and bequeath unto my Dear Wife Ann her Exors Admors and Assigns all and singular my Household Goods Furniture Plate Linen and Chin and other Effects of a like sort and kind that I shall be possessed of at the time of my Decease and for her own absolute use benefit and disposal I also give and bequeath unto my said Wife the Sum of Fifty pounds I give and bequeath unto my Mother Ann Burchett the Sum of ten Pounds I give and Bequeath unto my Sister Ann the Wife of William Riggatt the Sum of ten Pounds I give and Bequeath unto my Sister Mary the Wife of William Other the Sum of ten Pounds I give and Bequeath unto my Brother George Burchett the Sum of ten Pounds and also my Silver Watch I give and Bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth Burchett the Sum of Five Pounds I give and Bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Burchett the Sum of Five Pounds I give and Bequeath unto my Brothers in Law William Other and William Riggatt all and every my Cloaths and Wearing Apparel of every kind and description for their own use and benefit to be equally divided between them share and share alike and I give and bequeath unto my Brother Frederick Burchett the Silver Watch which I have lent to and is now commonly worn by my said Brother George Burchett All which said several and respective Legacies I hereby direct shall be paid within one month after my Decease All the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever and whereof I have power to dispose by will I give and bequeath the same and every part therof unto my said Wife Ann her Exors Admors and Assigns to and for her own absolute use benefit and disposal and I hereby nominate and appoint my Friends Thomas Loveland of the said Parish of Bisley Farmer and James Loveland of the Parish of Chobham in the County of Surrey Farmer Exors of this my Will hereby revoking all former and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the second Day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Eighteen // The Mark of X James Burchett // Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator James Burchett as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses // Tho.s W Marlin Clerk to Mr. Mears Sol.r Bagshot Surry // James Street Bisley Surrey Farmer // The Mark of X James Searle Bisley Surrey Farmer.
