In the Name of God Amen  I Charity Hayward Widd: of the pish of Horsell in the 
County of Surrey being sick & weak of body but of sound disposing mind & Memory 
praise be given to God  Therefore do make & Ordain this my p?sent Last Will & 
Testament in Manner & form following (that is to say) First & principally I Commend 
my Soul into ye Hands of Almighty God hoping through the merits Death & passion 
of Jesus Christ my Saviour to have full & free pardon & forgiveness of all my Sins & 
to inherit Everlasting Life And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at 
the discretion of My Execrs hereafter Named  And as touching such Temporall Estate 
as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give & dispose of ye same as followeth  
Item I give to my Son William Hayward the sum of five shillings  Item I give unto 
my Daughter Mary the wife of Richd Park the Sume of five pounds to be paid 
within six months next after my decease  Item  I give to my daughter Charity the 
wife of Peter Bransom victualer of Kingstone in case she should live to be a 
widdow the Sume of six pound the interest of  5 sh to begin & Comence within six 
Months next after my decease & the full Sume of six pounds to be pd her within six 
Months after the time y she becomes a Widd: but if it should happen that she should 
die before her husband Bransome then I give & bequeath the six pounds To Mary 
Ann Peter & Damaris to be Equally divided amongst them or the survivors of them  
Item I give to Peter Ann & Damaris the Sume of five pounds each to be paid within 
six Months after my decease  Item All the rest & residue of my temprall Estate Goods 
& Chatles whatsoever after payment of ye Legacys be me bequeathed I give & 
bequeath to my Son John Hayward full & Sole Executor of this my Last will & 
Testamt revoking all former Wills by me made In testimony whereof I have hereunto 
set my hand & Seal this second day of Aprill Ano Dni 1718
