This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Strudwick of the Parish of Cranley in the County of Surrey Farmer First I will and direct that all my just debts funeral expences and Testamentary charges be fully paid and satisfied by my Executor hereafter named by and out of my personal Estate as soon as conveniently may be after my decease and subject thereto I give and bequeath unto my Wife Ruth Strudwick all and singular my personal Estate property effects and things whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever the same may be to Hold to her my said Wife Ruth and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and bequeath one fifth part or share thereof (the whole into five equal parts or shares to be divided) to my Son Thomas Strudwick another fifth part or share thereof I give and bequeath to my Son James Strudwick one other fifth part or share thereof I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Hill the Wife of Robert Hill and the other and remaining fifth part or share thereof I give and bequeath unto and equally between my Grandchildren Charles and Thomas Andrews children of my late daughter Milly Strudwick deceased to be paid to them respectively on their severally attaining their respective ages of twenty one years and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Son Robert Strudwick sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me made and I declare this only to be last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this seventeenth day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen (Attestation Clause) The Mark X and Seal of Thomas Strudwick Charles Child Robert Poulton Thos Child Proved 7 June 1825 London Metropolitan Archives
