 I Richard LYMPOSS of the parish of Stoke next Guildford in the County of Surrey Blacksmith do 
make and declare this my last will and Testament in manner and Form Following first I Commit my 
soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body to be buried in the earth from whence it came in 
hope of a joyful Resurrection and after my just debts and funeral charges are paid by my Executors 
herein after named it is my will and I do so thereby appoint that my Executors do provide for my son 
William LYMPOSS out of my Estate and Effects sufficient Apparel with such other necessaries as I 
am By Indenture bound to provide during the time of his apprenticeship and all the Rest Residue and 
Remainder of my Estate and effects real and personal of which nature or kind soever I give and 
bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my dearly beloved wife Sarah LYMPOSS to hold and 
enjoy the same to her during her natural life she making no waste or Distruction thereupon being 
subject to this my will herein limited that is to say immediately after the decease of my wife Sarah 
LYMPOSS my will is that all the household furniture I die possessed of shall be equally divided into 
two parts the one part I give to my son John LYMPOSS and the other part I give to my son William 
LYMPOSS Item I give and devise to the aforesaid my son William LYMPOSS the sum of one hundred 
pounds together with all that freehold messuage or Tenement garden and appertanances thereunto 
Belonging lying and being in the parish of Stoke aforesaid adjoining my now dwelling house this same 
being at this time in the occupation of the wife of James BROWN now or lately a Soldier all which this 
aforesaid sum of one hundred pounds together with the messuage or Tenement and appurtenances 
aforesaid with the one half of my household furniture I do hereby order to be fully paid and delivered 
to my son William LYMPOSS at the decease of my wife without any Abatement or deduction 
whatever but if my wife die before he is twenty one years of age then the same to be paid by the 
surviving Executor hereinafter named by his Executor Executors Administrators or Assigns as soon as 
my son William LYMPOSS arrives at the age of twenty one years Also immediately after the decease 
of my wife Sarah LYMPOSS I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and 
Effects of what nature or kind soever and every part thereof unto my son John LYMPOSS to his own 
use and behoof and for the prevention of any sort of Embezilment of the said my effects it is my will 
and I do herby direct that an Inventory of the whole of my Effects be taken within the space of one 
Calendar month next after my decease and in case either of the aforesaid   My  sons the aforesaid John 
LYMPOSS or William LYMPOSS shall happen to die leaving no sons lawfully begotten then the 
surviving of them at the decease of my wife shall have the whole of my property But it is my further 
Will that if my wife Sarah LYMPOSS shall at any time hereafter marry or be given in marriage unto 
any man after my decease then my will is and I do hereby direct that my sons John LYMPOSS and 
William LYMPOSS or the survivor of them shall actually have immediate possession of such their 
respective share or shares in such manner as I have herein limited the same after the decease of my 
wife And I do make nominate and appoint my wife Sarah LYMPOSS and my son John LYMPOSS 
Executors of this my last Will and Testament And lastly I make Mr. Joseph PANNELL at the 
Greyhound in the parish of Ash in the County of Surrey and Mr. Thomas STUDWICK at the White 
Horse in the parish of Stoke in the County aforesaid Overseers of this my Will to see the same 
performed according to my intent And Meaning And for their trouble I give to each of them a ring of 
the value of twenty one shillings. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the third day 
of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Five

This Will of Richard LYMPOSS late of the parish of Stoke next Guildford in the County of Surrey 
deceased was proved on the second day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight 
Hundred before the Reverend Samuel COLE clerk a surrogate by the Oath of Sarah LYMPOSS widow 
the Relict and John LYMPOSS the son of the said Deceased And the Executors named in the said Will 
to whom Administration was granted having been first sworn duly to Adminstrate
