In the Name of God Amen I John Potter of Epsom in the County of Surry Glazier being weak in Body 
but of sound Mind Memory and Understanding praised be God do make and declare this my last Will 
and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me at any time 
heretofore made And first I will that all my Just Debts ffuneral Expences and the Charges of the 
Probate of this my Will be in the first Place paid and discharged by my Executrix herein after named 
And as for all and singular my Goods Chatels Rights Credits and Personal Estate of which I shall be
possessed at my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part and parcel thereof unto my 
dear and loving Wife Ann Potter to and for her own Use and Benefit And I do hereby nominate 
appoint my said Wife Ann sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Testimony whereof I the 
said John Potter the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this 
seventeenth day of November in the Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Seventy

On the fourteenth day of May in the Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Seventy Eight 
Administration with the Will annexed of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of John Potter 
late of Epsom in the County of Surry deceased was granted to Gurdelstone Rolfe and John Leathley
Creditors of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer Ann Potter Widow the Relict 
of the said deceased and sole Executrix and Univeral Legatee named in the said Will having first 
renounced the Execution thereof
