In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Fellows of the Borough of Southwark in the 
County of Surry Citizen and Tinplate Worker of London being weak in Body but 
of a sound and perfect mind memory and understanding praised be Almighty 
God Do make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament as follows First I 
commend my Soul to God who gave it hoping through the Merritts Death and 
Passion of my Blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ I shall have and find 
free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and my Body I desire may be decently 
interred after the manner of Quakers at the discretion of my Executrix herein 
after named AND as to such Worldly Estate it hath pleased God to bless me with 
I dispose thereof as follows ALL my ready Money Book debts plate Rings Work in 
Trade Bonds Notes household Furniture Linnen and Wearing apparel and 
personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I shall dye possessed off 
interrested in and instituted unto at the time of my Decease I give and bequeath 
to my Wifes Relation Elizabeth Hopkins who now lives with me as a Servant 
and has so done for several years past to her only proper use and behoof for 
ever she paying thereout all my just Debts Legasies and Funeral Charges and the 
Sume of Five pounds to the Quakers Monthly meeting at Horsely Down in 
Southwark Now the Reasons why I have been so kind to the said Elizabeth 
Hopkins as above mentioned are that she has lived with me several Years and 
has received little or no Wages or Recompence for her Labour has been very kind 
in Nursing me in my Illness and my own Relations have used me very ill and 
disrespectfully for which reasons I have left them nothing AND So hereby make 
Nominate Constitute and Appoint the said Elizabeth Hopkins whole and sole 
Executrix of this my Will and So hereby revoke all former Will and Wills by me at 
any time heretofore made and Executed and do declare this to be my last Will 
and Testament IN WITNESS thereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal this 
Twelfth day of December in the Seventeenth Year of the Reign of our Soverign 
Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland 
King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord One 
Thousand seven hundered and Forty three ? THOMAS FELLOWS ? Signed Sealed 
Published and declared by the Testator Thomas Fellows to be his last Will and 
Testament in the presence of us who Subcribed our Names as Witnessses hereto 
in his presence and at his request Nath:l Poole Carpenters Hall London Wall

This Will of Thomas Fellows late of the parish of Saint Saviours Southwark in the 
County of Surry Deceased was proved on the Twenty Fifth Day of January in the 
Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Forty three (English Stile) 
Before the Worshipfull Charles Pindfold Doctor of Laws a Surrogate by the Oath 
of Elizabeth Hopkins Widow the sole Executrix therein named To whom 
Administration was granted being first sworn faithfully to Administer.
