In the Name of God Amen I David Spence of Egling Gateway in the Parish of Saint 
Olave in Southwark in the County of Surry Dealer in Coals Do make publish and 
declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to 
say) ffirst I desire to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executrixes 
hereinafter named and I order and direct that all my just Debts together with the 
Charges of my ffuneral and Proving this my Will shall be fully paid and satisfied by 
my said Executrixes as soon as may be conveniently next after my decease I give 
and bequeath unto my Wife Elizabeth Spence All my Stock in Trade of value and 
such ready Money as may be in my dwelling House at the time of my decease 
together with such Household Goods and ffurniture as she brought to me upon my 
Marriage with her and as to for and concerning all the rest residue and remainder of 
my Estate and Effects both Real and Personal of what nature or kind soever the 
same shall or may be or consist of or which I may be Interested in or intitled unto at 
the time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every Part thereof unto 
my three Daughters Jane the Wife of James Palmer of the Parish of Saint Olave 
aforesaid ffishmonger Mary the Wife of ffrancis Bouchett of the Parish of Saint Olave 
aforesaid.....and Rosey Spence To have and to hold the same and every Part 
thereof to my said three Daughters Jane Palmer Mary Bouchett and Rosey Spence 
to be equally divided between them share and share alike to and for their own proper 
use and benefit for ever And I appoint the said Jane Palmer Mary Bouchett and 
Rosey Spence to be the Executors of this my Will and I do hereby revoke and make 
void all former and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made and I do 
declare this and this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament In Witness 
whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this thirtieth Day of November in the 
year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty five
