In the Name of God Amen
I William Collins of Richmond in the county of Surrey Brewer being of sound mind and 
understanding thanks be to almighty God Do make this last will in manner following

 First and principally I _______d my soul into the? hands of Almighty God and my body 
____ _____ to the earth to Do?ou?ly In_____ And as for and _____ing such worldy 
estate as it hath pleased God to Bless me with I hereby Order and dispose thereof as 
follows. First I will that all My just debts be fully paid and discharged by my executor 
hereinafter mentioned? Next I give devise and bequeath ? unto my dear wife Alice 
Collins all my Household goods plate rings or other furniture whatsoever. Also I give  
devise and bequeath unto my said wife if she shall so like  it for and during the term of 
her natural life the yearly sum or annuity of eighty pounds of good and lawful money of 
Great Britain to be paid her by even and equal quarterly payments by my executor in 
lieu of all rights or claim of D___r or thirds? And on condition that she 
whiquish(relinquish?) and give up all right and Title whatsoever is by any instrument art 
or deed of mine previous hereto ?othed on her and this I also advise her to 
Chuse(choose) Also I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife for and during the 
term of her natural life the further yearly sum or annuity
of twenty pounds of like good and lawful money of Great Britain for a house to be paid 
for likewise  quarterly by my Executor if he shall demand and oblige her to Quit? the? 
house or  apartment I now live in

 Also I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the wife of Wallwym 
Shepheard of Dounington the sum of one hundred pounds of good and lawful money of 
Great Britain. Also I give devise and bequeath unto my son Edward Collins the lease of 
the houses and premises on the Greenside? That I how hold of John Darnell? Esquire. 
Also I give devise and bequeath unto my said son Edward Collins all the rest residue 
and remainder  of my personal estate either in Cash Share of ??ousils Book debts 
Stock in trade or any other kind whatsoever or  wheresoever Subject ___ ____to the full 
payment and discharge of all just debts as a aforesaid trade? 

Lastly I do nominate and appoint  my said son Edward Collins Sole executor of this my 
last will and hereby revoking All former will or wills by me made Declare? this and this 
only to be my last will and testament in ___? Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
seal this Twenty Ninth day Of October in the year of our lord Christ One thousand and 
seven hundred and fifty four. Will: Collins – Signed Sealed 
published and declared  by the testator as for his last will and testament in the presence 
of us who subscribe our names in his presence and at his request Thomas  Budd?

This will was proved at London the first day of December in the year of our lord one 
thousand &? Seven
hundred and sixty before the worshipful George Harris Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the 
Right Worshipful Edward Simpson also doctor of laws master keeper or commissary Of 
the prerogative court of Canterbury lawfully established? by the oath of Edward Collins 
the son of the deceased and sole executor named in the said will to whom in 
administration was granted of all and singular th? Goods chattels and credits of the said 
deceased __? Having been first sworn duly to administer. Ewd.
