In the Name of God Amen I Henry Trigg of Dorking in the County of Surrey Tallowchandler being sicke and weak but in perfect mind and memory doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following ffirst and principally I bequeath my Soule into the hands of God that gave it mee hopeing to have pardon and remission of all my Sinnes by the precious death and buriall of our Lord Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer And my Body I committ to the earth from whence it came to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as for those worldly goods which it hath pleased God to lend mee I give and bequeath as followeth Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Trigg the summe of One hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid her by my Executrix hereafter named att her day of marriage by my Executrix hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Henry Trigg the summe of One hundred pounds of like lawfull money to be paid unto him when he shall accomplish the age of one and twenty yeares by my Executrix hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Trigg the summe of One hundred pounds of like lawfull money to be paid unto her when she shall accomplish the age of one and twenty yeares or day of marriage which shall first happen by my Executrix hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne John Trigg the summe of One hundred pounds of like lawfull money to be paid unto him when he shall accomplish the age of one and twenty yeares by my Executrix hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter ffrances Trigg the summe of One hundred pounds of lawfull money of England when she shall attaine to the age of one and twenty yeares or day of marriage which shall first happen by my Executrix hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne William Trigg the summe of One hundred pounds of like lawfull money to be paid unto him by my Executrix hereafter named when he shall accomplish the age of one and twenty yeares Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Edward Trigg for and dureing the terme of his naturall life one annuity or yearly rent of tenn pounds to be issuing out of the messuages or tenements situate lyeing and being in the South Street of Dorking aforesaid in the Severall tenures or occupations of ffrances Buttery William Worland and John ffreeland or their severall assign or assigns for....And if att any time my loveing mother Elizabeth Bothell should goe ...live from my Executrix hereafter named Then I give and bequeath unto my said Mother Elizabeth Bothell the Summe of Tenn pounds of lawful English money yearely and every yeare dureing soe long time as the said Elizabeth shall live from my Executrix hereafter named halfe yearely Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Jane Trigg All those messuages and tenements stables and backsides in Dorking aforesaid in the occupations of the said ffrances Buttery William Worland and John ffreeland or their severall assign or assigns To have and hold the said messuage or tennemenets and premises unto the said Jane Trigg my wife and to her heires and assigns forever....with the annuity of Tenn pounds a yeare to my sonne Edward Trigg dureing his naturall life for his maintenance All the rest of my worldly goods my debts and Legacyes paid I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jane whom I make sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoakeing all former Wills by me heretofore made and I desire my loveing brothers Richard Constable and John Smith and my loveing kinsman John Spencer gent and my loveing freind William Hordern gent to be Overseers of this my last Will and Testament desireing them to see it performed And I doe give to every and each of them Tenne Shillings to buy each of them a Ring to be paid by my Executrix In Witness whereof to this my last Will and Testament containing two sheets of paper I hereunto sett my hand and seale The six and twentieth day of September in the Two and twentieth yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the Second by the Grace of God of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith Anno Dom 1670 Henry Trigg George More W Horden Proved 21 March 1671 PCC Prob11/335
