In the name of God Amen I Henry Payne of Dorkinge in the Countye of Surrey Citizen 
and Skynner of London beinge in reasonable health strength and memory (blessed be 
God) doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme 
followinge (that is to say) ffirst I Comit my Soule into the handes of God my own 
Almighty Creator Redeemer and Sanctifier And my body to be buryed in decent and 
Christian buryall accordinge to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter mentioned And 
for my worldly goodes it hath pleased God to leave me I will bequeath and give as 
followeth Item I will bequeath and give to the oldest son of every one of my brethren, 
and the elder son of my sister Hardy her said Sonne twelve pence apeece To be paid to 
them by my Executrix within one yeare after my death being lawfully demanded And for 
the rest of my goodes and household stuffe bills bonds outhouses Cattell my debtes 
and funerall charges discharged and gott free I doe will bequeath and give them unto 
my deare and Loveinge Wife Jane Payne whome I make and ordaine to be my whole 
and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament And revokeing all former Wills 
whatsoever And I entreate my Loveinge Brother in Law John Skeete of Effingham and 
my Cosen Henry Lucas of Mickleham both of Surreyto be Overseers of this my last Will 
giveing to each of them five shillings a peace for their paynes In witness hereof I have 
hereunto sett my hand and seale this present day being the seaventeenth of the present
