In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Bothell of Dorking in the County of Surrey being 
weak in body but of good and perfect mind and memory (Praised be God) Doe make 
and ordaine This my last will and Testament in manner and forme following ffirst I 
commend my Soule into the hands of god my Almighty maker creator and redeemer 
And my body to be committed to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried at the 
discretion of my Executors hereafter named And this worldly goods wherewith it hath 
pleased God to endue me withall I give will and bequeath as followeth And first I give 
will and bequeath and doe assigne and .....unto my brother William Bothell my dwelling 
house (after my death)with all and every of the Tenements barnes Stables backsides 
and Edifices thereunto belonging or in any way appertaining to him and his heires 
forever; Upon this condition following......to pay unto the ffive Children of my Brother 
John Bothell, Jane, Susan,Elizabeth,John,Ephraim, Twenty Pounds apeece; 
accordingly as it is set down and appointed by my father's last will and Testament And 
alsoe on condition that he hereby pay unto my bother Samuell Bothell his bother, one 
hundred pounds of currant english money formerly willed and bequeathed unto him as 
his portion att his age of twentie foure yeares If he shall belong him but not before; But if 
the said Samuell Bothell shall depart this his naturall life before his said age of foure 
and twentie yeares That then my will is that the said hundred pounds portion be equally 
divided amongst and paid to you, and every one of your brethren and sisters your and 
their in equal parts Secondly upon condition he timely pay unto my uncle John Hamon 
ffoure pounds of good and lawfull english money by the yeare during his naturall life 
which was formerly given him by his owne Mother All the rest of my goods chattells bills 
bonds and debts oweing unto me or any ..... to me belonging and not before given 
willed bequeathed or disputed of, and my debts and funerall expences charged and 
paid and fully satisfied I doe hereby will and bequeath them all unto my brethren and 
Sisters, Ephraim Bothell, William Bothell, Samuell Bothell, Susan Bignall, Jane 
Hallawaie, to every one a like portion of them, none more or lesse than other; And these 
my Brethren and Sisters I ordayne and appoint to be my whole and sole Executors of 
this my last will and Testament And last of all I intreat my Christian freinds Henry Payne, 
John Heather, Henry Gosden to be the Over Seers of this my last Will and Testament 
And I give and bequeath to every one of them three shillings foure pence apeece for 
their further advice and helpe of my Executors concerning the performance and 
execution hereof And in further witnesse of this my owne Acte and deed I doe hereunto 
sett my hand and seale this present day being the Nineth day of July Anno Domini one
