Will of Thomas Bird

I THOMAS BIRD of the Parish of St Olave, Southwark in the County of 
Surrey, Brewer being weak in body but of sound mind, memory and 
understanding God be praised do by divine permission make publish and 
declare these presents to be and contain my last Will and Testament as 
followeth and first I commend my Soul to God who gave it and my body I 
commit to the Dust from whence it came and touching the disposal of such 
temporal estate as the Lord hath been pleased to bestow upon me I order 
give devise and bequeath the same as followeth. Imprimis I give devise and 
bequeath unto my loving wife FRANCES BIRD all and singular my goods 
chattels ready money debts and all other my substance and estate 
whatsoever both real and personal of what nature kind or quality soever the 
same shall or may consists in. And I do make, name, constitute and appoint 
my said loving wife FRANCES BIRD to be sole Executrix of this my Will 
Revoking and making void all former Will and Testaments by me in any wise 
heretofore had made published or declared. In witness whereof I the said 
THOMAS BIRD have hereunto set my hand and seal the fourteenth day of 
January Anno Dom 1709 (Latin in the reign of Ann etc). The mark of 
THOMAS BIRD. Signed sealed published declared and delivered by the said 
Testator for his only last Will and Testament in the presence of us. JANE
