In the name of God Amen.  I Margaret GALE of the parish of Saint John Southwark in the county of 
Surrey Widow do hereby make my last Will and Testament and whereas I am possessed of the capital 
stock or fund of three hundred and thirty pounds now standing in my name in the three per cent 
Consolidated Bank annuitied --------------------------------- Now I do hereby give and bequeath this 
interest or hundreds thereof as they shall become due and payable unto my Sister in Law Ann GALE 
of -----  ----- Almshouses in the parish of St. Botolph’s Aldgate for and during the term of her natural 
life and from and immediately after her decease I give and bequeath the said principal stock or fund of 
three hundred and thirty pounds unto Mrs. KIRRAL wife of ------ Mr KIRRALL (formerly Mary 
BANFIELD) of Old Compton Street Soho Baker all the Rest and Residue of my effects whatsoever 
and of what nature I may be possessed of I give and bequeath the same unto the aforesaid Ann GALE 
and do hereby appoint the aforesaid Ann GALE sole executrix of this my Will and in witness whereof 
I do hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand 
seven hundred and ninety seven. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Margaret GALE 
the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who subscribed our names

This Will was proved at London on the seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand 
seven hundred and ninety nine ---- Lawfully constituted by the oath of Ann GALE Widow the sole 
Executrix to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of 
the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer.
