Will of Charles STACEY of Ewell Proved 16 October 1829 In the name of God Amen I Charles STACEY of Ewell in the parish of Surrey farmer being of sound mind and memory and understanding thanks be to God for the same I do make this my last Will and testament in manner and form following I give and bequeath unto my mother Ann STACEY the sum of twenty pounds I give and bequeath unto Robert McKEWAN of Buxton Place Lincolnshire gardener and Ann STACEY wife of Charles Stacey my Executors and Trustees hereinafter named the sum of five pounds each I give and bequeath unto my wife Ann STACEY all my household plate linen furniture linen china and what money may be in my house at the time of my decease for her sole use and benefit all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects of what nature or wheresoever that I shall be possessed of or entitled to at the time of my decease (not hereinbefore given or bequeathed) do hereby give and bequeath unto the said Robert McKEWAN and Ann STACEY to hold to them their executors heirs or assigns upon this special trust and confidence nevertheless ( that is to say) that they my said Trustees or the survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such a survivor do and shall sell and dispose thereof and call in and receive all such debts sum or sums of money as shall be due or owing to me at the time of my death and place the monies arising from such sale or disposal and the monies so to be called or received upon Government or other good and sufficient security in their names and in such manner as they shall think proper and also upon trust that they do and shall receive the interest and dividends thereof from time to time as the same shall become due and payable and pay the same to my said wife for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease then upon trust to pay such principal money unto and between all my children when and so soon as they shall severally and respectively attain their several and respective ages of twenty one years and if only one child shall live to attain that age then to pay the same to a such only child but in case all my said children shall happen to die under that age then in trust to pay such principal monies unto and between all my brothers and sisters as shall be then living equally between them and I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Robert McEWAN and Ann STACEY Executors and Trustees of this my Will and Testament and I hereby revoke and make void all former and other will or wills by me at any time herebefore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I thereto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of April one thousand eight hundred and sixteen Charles STACEY Witnessed by William BLISS.
