This is the last Will and Testament of me Champion Constable Wetton of Egham in the County of Surry Banker Bookseller and Stationer which I make in manner following (that is to say) In the first place I direct my Executor hereinafter named to pay and satisfy all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the several pecuniary legacies hereinafter bequeathed out of my Personal Estate as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I confirm the Settlement made on my marriage with my dear wife Jamett Wetton and I give and bequeath unto my said wife all and every the interest dividends and profits of my one hundred shares in the London Joint Stock Bank situate at Princes Street in the City of London to and for her absolute use and benefit for the term of her natural life and also the use and anticipation of and in my freehold dwellinghouse garden and premises wherein I now reside situate at the Terrace Englefield Green and all my plate linen china pictures glass wines liquors furniture and household effects in and about the same to hold the same to my said Wife for the term of her natural life without paying any rent or consideration for the same or being liable for damage or injury arising from wear and tear thereof or the ordinary repairs thereof or for the consumption of consumable articles belonging thereto I give and devise unto my Nephew Champion Wetton All that my freehold messuage or tenement outbuildings piece or parcel of land hereditaments and premises called Joldens with the appurtenances containing by admeasurement forty two acres more or less situate and being at Bohnbury Hill in the Parish of Orfley in the said County of Surrey And also all that my cottage garden and piece or parcel of land hereditaments and premises called Little Burchetts with the appurtenances containing by estimation five acres more or less situate and being in the parish of Abinger in the said County of Surrey as the same all now severally in the tenance or occupation of Edmund Longhurst And also all those several pieces or parcels of freehold land and premises containing together by estimation thirty acres more or less situate and being in the Parish of Ash in the County of Kent with the appurtenances now in the occupation of William Laslett And also all that my freehold messuage tenement or public house with the several cottages piece or parcel of land hereditaments and premises thereunto adjoining with the appurtenances situate and being in Church street in the Parish of Staines in the County of Middlesex called or known by the Sign of "The Phoenix" on lease to Messieurs Ashby and now in the occupation of William Cozens and others And also all those my three (lately four) freehold messuages or tenements hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances adjoining each other situate and being in Anchor Street and Club Row respectively in the Parish of Saint Mathias Bethnal Green in the said County of Middlesex on lease to Joseph Mor???on and now in the several occupations of him or his undertenants To hold the said several last described freehold messuages or tenements Public house land hereditaments and premises with their and every of their appurtenances unto my said Nephew Champion Wetton his heirs and assigns for ever /I give and devise unto my Nephew Henry Wetton all my freehold cottages or tenements garden greenhouse coachhouse stables hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances formerly called or known as the Westen house Estate situate adjoining the Church yard in the Town of Chertsey in the said County of Surry now in the occupation of Henry Roake Henry Laws and others And also all that my freehold cottage or tenement orchard hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances situate and being at Addlestone in the said County of Surry now or late in the occupation of William Miller And also all that my freehold messuage or tenement outbuildings hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances situate and being in Church Street in the Parish of Staines in the said County of Middlesex in the occupation of William Vorroe And also all that my freehold double cottage or tenement hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances situate and being at Thorpe Green in the Parish of Thorpe in the said County of Surry now in the occupation of the Widow Hurron And also all that my freehold messuage or tenement hereditaments and premises situate and being on the north side of High Street in Egham aforesaid now in the occupation of ffrederick Walker To hold the said several last described freehold messuages or tenements cottages lands hereditaments and premises with their and every of their appurtenances unto my said Nephew Henry Wetton his heirs and assigns for ever/ I give and devise unto my Niece Jane Wade Wetton All those my six freehold messuages or tenements gardens hereditaments and premises situate and being on the north side of the Southampton Road near Hawest Corner in the Parish of Egham aforesaid with the appurtenances called or known by the name of Wetton Terrace now in the several tenures or occupations of Marmaduke Jegon myself my Brother George Wade Wetton Major Timdrell and one unoccupied And also all that my piece or parcel of freehold land adjoining thereto containing eight acres or thereabouts now in the occupation of William Morris and the belts and plantations surrounding the same To hold all and every the said several last described freehold messuages or tenements land hereditaments and premises in Wetton Terrace aforesaid in which I now reside for my said Widow Jamet Wetton for the term of her natural life or such part thereof as she shall continue to occupy the same without paying any rent for the same as hereinbefore mentioned with their and every of their appurtenances unto my said Niece Jane Wade Wetton her heirs and assigns for ever I give and bequeath to my Niece Anna Maria Wetton All that my copyhold messuage or tenement garden hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances And also the piece or parcel of freehold land adjoining thereto and occupied therewith situate and being on Englefield Green in the said County of Surry now in the occupation of George Richmond Esquire And also all that my newly built freehold messuage cottage or tenement hereditaments and premises together with the piece or parcel of freehold land adjoining thereto containing two acres or thereabouts which I purchased of the devisees of the late Viscount Buckley situate and being at or near Englefield Green aforesaid on lease to James Exall Bamford And also all that piece or parcel of freehold meadow land also adjoining thereto containing three acres or thereabouts which I purchased of the same devisees now in the occupation of John Beauchamp To hold all and every the said several last described messuages or tenements land hereditaments and premises with their and every of their appurtenances unto my said Niece Anna Maria Wetton her heirs and assigns for ever I give to my friend Mr. John White of Ebury Street Pimlico Estate Agent the sum of one hundred pounds sterling and to my trustworthy Assistant in my Business John Wood the sum of fifty pounds sterling And as to all the Rest and Residue of my ffreehold Copyhold and Leasehold Estates ready money money in the public ffunds securities for money ???? debts and all and every other my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever of which I shall be seized or entitled at the time of my decease And either in possession reversion or expectancy I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Nephew George Norman Wetton To hold the same and every part thereof according to the nature or quality thereof respectively unto the said George Norman Wetton his heirs executors administrators and assigns subject nevertheless as to the residue of my said Personal Estate with the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the pecuniary legacies hereinbefore bequeathed and subject to the life interest hereinbefore given to my said Wife in the furniture and other articles in and about my dwelling house at Wetton Terrace aforesaid And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Nephew George Norman Wetton sole Executor of this my Will having the fullest confidence in his integrity and that he will do what is just and right towards his relations And lastly I hereby revoke and make void all former Wills and Codicils by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Champion Constable Wetton the Testator have to the first three sheets of this my last Will and Testament contained in four sheets of paper set my hand and to this fourth and last sheet thereof my hand and seal this fifteenth day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty / C C Wetton / Signed sealed
