In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Paget of the Parish of 
Iffley in the County of Oxford Spinster Do make this my 
last Will and Testament in manner & form following I appoint 
my Cousin Edward Charles Sandell Surgeon of Broad 
Street Oxford to be my sole Executor & I desire to be buried 
in Iffley Church in a lead Coffin in a very neat decent manner & 
that the outside Coffin may be covered with black with as few 
nails & ornaments as can possibly be All white the Plate to be 
quite plain & inscribed as I shall order hereafter the hatbands 
to be White Muslin the Gloves to be Grey Beaver I give & 
devise to Mr Sandell all my money œ248-7-2 in the 8 Per Cent 
Navy the interest of œ200 to be paid half yearly to my Sister 
Ann Minster of Stow in the County of Gloucester during 
her natural life provided she pays every expence of postage 
attending it to Mr Sandell aforesaid after Mrs Minter the 
Interest of the œ200 shall be for Mr Sandell during his natural 
life & after him it is my Will that it shall be for his youngest 
Child Lettitia And it is my Will & desire that my Funeral 
expences be paid out of the residue of the money and any 
other debts there may be at the time I am buried but at the 
time I write this my will I do not owe one penny in the World 
more than for my Lodgings since the 30th day of May this 
present year 1821 I also give & bequeath to Mr E C Sandell my 
large Feather Bed Bolster 4 Pillows 2 Pr of Blankets 1 large 
patch work Bed Quilt & Matrass 1 Pr of India Calico sheets 1 Pr 
of Linen with 2 Pillow Cases same Cloth & mark 1 Strong Pr of 
Sheets 1 Pr of linen with 2 Pillow Cases the same Cloth & mark 
2 Diaper Table Cloths 1 fine old ...... Ditto marked 1 Diaper 
Breakfast Cloth marked P Also I give him 12 Silver Tea Spoons 
& Sugar Tongs & 2 large Silver Table Spoons And after Mr 
Sandell has divided part of my Property as I have requested 
him & as he has faithfully promised to do I leave all the rest of 
my Property to him & hereto I put my hand & seal in the 
presence of Elizabeth Paget _ William Cox _ John Reynolds

N.B The undermentioned Articles in my Apartment belonging to 
Mr & Mrs Sandell A Mahogany Table with one leaf A Writing 
Stand with 3 Glasses 1 Bro... 2 Glasses ...... Basket & 1 Green 
fingure Glass 1 Pr of Plaited Candlesticks 1 Brass Candlestick 2 
Brown Jars a small Bedstead in my large chamber Tredington 
where I now reside & in case I die here I desire to be buried in 
the Chancel of Tredington Church N.B. I give & bequeath to my 
Brother C.W.S. Paget the Sum of One Shilling to be paid on 
demand by Mr Sandell my sole Executor
Since this my Will was Written my Property has been 
transferred into the 4Pr Cts & I do not at this time exactly 
know how mush it is but my Will & pleasure let the sum be 
what it will that Mr Sandell my Executor shall have the whole of 
it from the time of my death after my Funeral expences and 
any debts there may be are paid & not for Mrs Minster to have 
the interest as I had before mentioned in my Will I request & 
desire Mr Sandell will not sink the Property but keep it in the 
Bank at the best Interest for his life & after him I desire that 
his youngest Child Letitia Maria may have it properly 
secured unto her hereunto I set my hand this twenty seventh
