This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert Baker of 
Little Stoke in the County of Oxford Gentleman which I 
make publish and declare as follows that is to say I desire all 
my just debts funeral and testamentary expences may be paid 
and discharged as soon as may be after my decease I give 
devise and bequeath unto my housekeeper Elizabeth 
Harling otherwise Harding....  my College=hold Cottage or 
Tenement with the Barn Yard Orchard and appurtenances 
thereto belonging situate and being at Winterbrooke in the 
parish of Cholsey in the County of Berks which I let to Mr John 
Kirby to hold the same unto and to the use of the said 
Elizabeth Harling otherwise Harding for and during such part of 
my Estate term therein as she shall happen to live and from 
and immediately after her decease I give devise and bequeath 
the same unto and to the use of my two nephews The 
Reverend Robert Wintle of Culham in the County of Oxford 
and The Reverend Thomas Wintle of St John?s College 
Oxford Clerks their Executors admors and assigns for and 
during all the remainder of the estate term and interest therein 
then to come as tenants in common but not as joint tenants 
and I give unto her the said Elizabeth Harling otherwise 
Harding and her assigns during her natural life one annuity or 
yearly sum of forty pounds to be paid out of my stock in the 
Long annuities in the Bank of England and from and 
immediately after her decease I give and bequeath the 
principal monies stocks funds and securities thereof unto my 
said nephews The Reverend Robert Wintle and The Reverend 
Thomas Wintle equally to be divided between them share and 
share alike I give and bequeath unto my late servant William 
Cooper of Moulsford in the County of Berks the legacy or 
sum of three hundred pounds of lawful money current in Great 
Britain I give unto my servant James Harling otherwise 
Harding and to Elizabeth Cozens daughter of William 
Cozens of Warborough in the said County of Oxford 
Blacksmith and to her sister Frances Cozens now in my 
service the legacies or sums of twenty five pounds each of like 
lawful money all which legacies I direct to be paid within six 
calendar months after my decease free and without any 
deductions for the legacy duties payable thereon which I 
request my Executors hereinafter named to pay as well as the 
duty on the annuity so given to the said Elizabeth Harling 
otherwise Harding as aforesaid out of the residue of my 
personal estate and as to all the rest residue and remainder of 
my messuages or tenements land heredits and premises 
household goods and furniture plate linen and china ready 
money and securities for money money in the public stocks or 
funds Goods Chattels real and personal estate and effects 
whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind 
soever I give devise and bequeath the same and every part 
and parcel thereof with their and every of their rights members 
and appurts to the same respectively belonging unto and to the 
use of my said nephews The Reverend Robert Wintle and The 
Reverend Thomas Wintle their heirs Exors admors and assigns 
for ever in equal shares and proportions as tenants in common 
but not as joint tenants and I do hereby nominate constitute 
and appoint them my said nephews The Reverend Robert 
Wintle and The Reverend Thomas Wintle Executors of this my 
Will and hereby revoking all former Wills and Testaments by 
me made I do declare this only to be my last Will and 
Testament In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and 
Testament contained in two sheets of paper set my hand to 
each sheet thereof and to the last of them my seal also this 
ninth day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight
