In the Name of God Amen I Elias Harris of Bright Hall in 
the Parish of Great Rollright in the County of Oxford 
ffarmer Being weak of Body but of perfect mind and 
memory do make this my last Will and Testament in 
manner following ffirst I committ my Soul to God my 
Creator and my Body to the earth to be buried at the 
discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as for my 
worldly Estates I dispose with as followeth Imprimis I give 
& bequeth to my Brother John Harris all my Estate of Land 
called Bright Hill in the Parish of Great Rollright with all 
rights & titles thereto belonging Likewise I give and 
bequeth to my Brother John Harris all my Stock of Cattle 
and Implements of Husbandry Household ffurniture and all 
other affects now in my possession which is upon my 
estate called bright hill Likewise I give and bequeth to my 
Brother John Harris all my Cottage Houses and all thereto 
belonging at Long Compton in the occupation of James 
Whiting Likewise I give and bequeth to my Brother John 
Harris all my Book debts and all their Effects Real and 
Personal Likewise I give & bequeth to Ann Barlow Sarah 
Reinow and Martha Hawkins the sum of one shilling each 
Likewise I give & bequeath to my sister Elizabeth Richens 
one shilling In Witness hereof the above named Testator 
hath set his hand and Seal this ninth day of April one
