The Last Will and Testament of me Richard Brain of Hook Norton in the County of 
Oxford Blacksmith as follows: After the payment of my just debts and funeral 
expences I give and bequeath unto my dear Brother John Brain and my dear Sisters 
Mary the wife of Thomas Elfred and Anne the wife of Joseph Baughen everything 
that I die possessed of or entitled to to be divided equally among my said brother and 
sisters share and share alike: And I appoint my said Brother John Brain of Hook 
Norton, Farrier, and Richard Bloxham of Hook Norton, Plumber & Glazier, to be the 
Executors of this my Last Will and Testament Witness my hand this 25th day of
