In the Name of God Amen I William Minchin of Southrupp in the parish of 
Hooknorton in the County of Oxford Physician being of good and sound mind 
memory & Understanding (praised be God for the same) and Considering the 
Uncertainty of this transitory life Do make and Declare this to be my last Will 
and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First and principally I 
Commend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God my Creator and Redeemer 
hoping through the meritts death and passion of my Lord and Saviour Jesus 
Christ to receive full free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and my Body I 
Committ to the Earth from whence it was taken to be decently Interred at the 
Care and discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named And as for touching 
and concerning the disposition of all such temporal Estate wherewith it has 
pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I give devise and bequeath the 
same in manner and forme following (that is to say) Imprimis I give and 
devise all that Messuage or Tenement wherein I now Inhabite and dwell 
situate and being in Southrupp aforesaid together with all Edifices Yards 
backsides Gardens and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging 
unto my Wife Sarah Minchin for and during the term of her natural Life In 
Case she keeps herself a Widow and unmarried and from and immediately 
after her decease or second marriage which shall first happen Then I give and 
devise the said Messuage or Tenement and premises with their and every of 
their Appurtenances unto my Son Thomas Minchin his heirs and Assigns for 
Ever Item (William Minching) all my Books of what nature or kind soever the 
same do Consist of  Item all the rest Residue and Remainder of my personal 
Estate of what nature or kind soever  the same do Consist of after my just 
Debts and funeral Expences are fully satisfyed and discharged I give and 
bequeath unto my said wife whom I make Ordain Nominate Constitute and 
Appoint Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament But my Will further 
is that in Case my said Wife shall marry againe then the surplusage of my 
Personal Estate after my debts are discharged as aforesaid shall immediately 
after her second marriage be vested in and go to my Son and Daughter share 
and share alike And I do hereby revoke disannull and make void all former 
and other Wills by me at any time before made And do hereby declare this to 
be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said William Minchin 
have to this my last Will and Testament  Containing two sheets of paper sett 
my Hand and Seal to each of them this Eighth day of August in the Year of 
our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Five  William Minching
