I JOHN CLISBY  of Moreton in the parish of Thame in the County of  Oxon husbandman 
being  in good and perfect memory (GOD be therefore pray for)  and having in mind the death 
of my body to be natural and certain and the time place and manner thereof to be most 
(but?)…  contained And  therefore requiring and intending the (dispossessing?) and orderings 
of all my Goods and Chattels that GOD by his great goodness hath but  unto me in this world 
do now make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and (????) following 
and first I do give and bequeath unto my sister Alice messuage and meadows and to her 
children five pounds to be evenly distributed among them share and share alike within the year 
next after my decease (?..) I do give unto the three children of my sister Jane (like is for like?) 
the sum of five pounds of lawful money of England to be equally distributed amongst them 
share and share alike within one year next after my decease I am and I give but of the children 
of my sister Elizabeth Atkinson the sum of the pound of ffortive shillings to be equally 
distributed amongst them within one year next after my decease and I do give unto Elizabeth 
Towns  one of the daughters of William Towns of Moreton aforesaid the full sum of five 
pounds of lawful money of England to be paid unto her by my Executors hereafter named and 
when she shall attain (…?) the age of one and twenty years and all  the rest of my Goods and 
Chattels I do give and do bequeath  and I do give and bequeath unto my loving Cosen George 
Young and Mary Phillips Executors of this my (sprofit?) last will and testament I do nominate  
John Stribblehill  Priestend  and in the Parish of Thame in the County of Oxon  Yeoman and 
Edward Lobson? (Dobson?) of Thame aforesaid Moreton (to - - -) this My last Will and 
Testament to see the same performed as aforesaid and for their pains herein to be taken I do 
give unto each of them three shillings and a (fouen pouse exens) In witness whereof I have 
here out of att.  my hand and seal this Twelfe day of   August in the year of our Lord One

This Will was probated at London the thirtieth day of October in the year of our Lord GOD 
according to the Computations of the Church of England one thousand six hundred  fifty and 
eight  before the judge and for probate of wills  and granting Administration and lawfully 
authorised by the oath of  George Young the surviving executor of the said deceased in the 
said  will named  to whom Administration of all and singular of the goods and chattels and 
debte's of the said   deceased was committed having first sworn by Commission truly to 
Administer the same  Mary Phillips  and the other executor dying after the execution of the 
Commission  and before the Probate made. ///.  a.a.
