In the Name of God Amen 
I John Jackman of Hanwell in the County of Oxford do make this my last Will and 
Testament (Viz.) I do appoint my Daughter in Law Mary Jackman and also my Grand 
Daughter Mary Jackman to be my Executors of this my last Will I give unto my Son 
William Jackman Fourteen Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain I give unto the 
six Children of my Daughter ffrances Stanley to be divided equally amongst them 
twelve pounds of like lawful Money and I give to my Grand daughter Ann Grant 
fourteen pounds of like lawful Money the three Sums as above mentioned to be paid 
in six months after my decease I give also to my Son William Jackman my Wearing 
Apparel my Measuring Chain as also what Books he may choose that were mine All 
those Household Goods Bed & Bedding that came from my Sister ffrances must be 
divided equally share and share alike between my Son William Jackman and the six 
Children of my Daughter Frances Stanley which are to be divided at my decease My 
Executors having paid the Sums as above stated and divided the Goods as above 
and also paying my Just Debts and likewise paying the Expenses of my ffuneral shall 
be and are entitled to all and every part of the Residue of my Personal Estate such 
as Monies Household Goods Beds and Bedding utensils of all kinds Cows Sheep 
Horses Hogs etc as also Hay Straw Implements of Husbandry and every thing else I 
may be possessed of at my decease I give to my Executors all and every part of the 
Residue of my property that shall be found at my decease I hereby exchide all 
former Wills made by me and do now declare this to be my last Will and Testament

This Will was proved at London the eighteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one 
thousand seven hundred and ninety nine before the Right Honourable Sir William 
Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative 
Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Mary Jackman widow and 
Mary Jackman Spinster the Granddaughter Executorixs named in the said Will to 
whom Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said 
deceased was granted having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer.
