I James Gulliver of the Parish of Saint James in the Town of Brackley in the County of Northampton Gentleman now residing with Mr Samuel Pattershall in Church Court Kensington in the County of Middlesex being of sound and perfect Mind Memory and Understanding Do make and Publish this my last Will and Testament as follows (that is to say)I Give and bequeath unto Mary Haynes of Brackley aforesaid the Sum of Ten Pounds to be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named or to be by her Deducted out of the several Sums of Money following which She now hath in her hands belonging to me in Specie (Vizt) Twenty three Guineas four thirty Six Shillings pieces and Two Crowns upon the said Mary Haynes's delivering up to my Executrix the Ballance of the said Peices of Money And also two several Notes of hand payable to me which She now hath in her hands one from Mr Wootton a Mason for Ten Guineas and the other from Mr William Barnard a Carpenter for five Guineas And I do also Give unto the said Mary Haynes All my Household Goods furniture and Wearing Apparel of all Sorts now being in my House at Brackley aforesaid I Also Give and bequeath unto Ann Hunt now being with me Ten Guineas And all such Wearing Apparel both Linnen and Woollen as I now have with me at Mr Pattershall's I Give to Mr Garman Ride of Kensington Baker and to Mary Cockerell Servant to the said Mr Pattershall One Guinea each for a Ring All the Rest and Residue of my Estate both Real and Personal after Payment of my Debts and Legacys (which I direct to be paid Immediately after my decease) ffuneral Expences the charges of this my Will and other Incident charges which I now am or hereafter may or Shall Dye Seized Possessed or Intitled in or to I Give Devise and bequeath unto Mary the Wife of the said Samuel Pattershall her Heirs Executors Admors and Assigns for ever I Do make Constitute and Appoint the said Mary Pattershall Sole Executrix of this my Will revoking all former Wills In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this third day of January 1759 Jas Gulliver (Attestation Clause) The mark of Christopher Hutchinson _ Wm Callaway Kensington Proved at London 24 January 1759 PCC Prob11/843
