In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Hillersdon of Northampton in the County of Northampton widow being of perfect sound and disposing mind and memory and calling to mind the Certainty of Death and the uncertainty thereof do for the better settling the Estate wherewith God hath been pleased to bless me make this my last will and Testament in manner and form following viz. First I resign my soul to God who gave it in hopes of Salvation through the merits and Intercession of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer and my body I commit to the Earth therein to be decently interred in the Chancell of Castle Ashby by my late dear deceased husband Item I give unto the poor of the said parish of Castle Ashby in Case the Rector of the said parish shall permit my body after my death to be laid by my said husband in his Chancel there the sume of five pounds Item I give unto my three daughters Frances Agutter Anne Spurrier and Elizabeth Hillersdon the sume of Fifty pounds to each of them to be paid within three months after my decease Item I give to each and every of my grand Children which I shall have at the time of my Death the sume of Ten Pounds to be paid also within three months after my decease Item I give unto my said four Daughters all my plate to be delivered to them immediately after my death and to be equally distributed among them Item all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate of what nature and kind soever not before given and bequeathed unto my only son Michael Hillersdon and him the said Michael I nominate constitute make ordain and appoint the sole and only Executor of this my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred twenty and one Elizabeth Hillersdon (Attestation Clause) John Agutter _ Stephen Winston Junior _ Geo Fry all of Northampton Proved at London 3 February 1729/30 PCC Prob11/635
