I Charles Barrat of the Parish of Bulwick being sick and weak of body do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament (that is today) after all my just debts are paid (as well as funeral expences and mortgages and lawful debts) I give and bequeath the remainder of my property freehold copyhold and personal property to be equally divided between my beloved wife and my two sons Danl. and Charles Barrat to share equally alike And I do hereby disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former Testament Wills or Bequeaths and I herein appoint Mary Barrat Daniel Barrat and Charles Barrat my executors of this my last Will and Testament. As witness my hand and seal this 13th day of Novr. 1828 Charles Barratt signed sealed published and declared by the said Charles Barrat as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers, Robert Nichols, Thos. Sculthorp, John Howe. Proved on the 11th day of December 1828 before the Reverend John Shillibeer Clerk and Surrogate on the oaths of Mary Barratt Daniel Barratt and Charles Barratt the joint exors. sub œ100 Will held at NRO: Ref:MW 97, p.
