In the name of God Amen I Thomas Tarry of the Parish of Paulerspury in the county of Northampton Yeoman do make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in Manner following First my Will and desire is that All my just Debts and Funeral Charges may be paid and Satisfied together with the Expenses my Executrix may be put unto in proving my Will or Otherwise Then I give devise and Bequeath unto my loving Wife Elizabeth Tarry All those my Nine Acres (let the same be more or less) of Arable Land and Ley Ground lying and being dispersed in the Commons and Open Fields of Paulerspury Aforesaid and now in my Own Occupation And Also All those my Three Messuages or Tenements whereofTwo of them are Freehold in one of them Leasehold with the Buildings Yards Gardens and Appurtenances thereunto belonging Situate standing and being in Paulerspury Aforesaid To Hold them to her my said Wife To and for her Sole Use and benefit During the Term of her Natural life Item I give to my Son Thomas Tarry the Sum of One Shilling to be paid at any time after my Decease But my express Will and desire is that after the Decease of my Wife the Rents and Profits arising from those Nine Acres of Arable Land and Ley Ground only be given Annually to my Son Joseph Tarry if he be the longest living to find him in Bread During the Term of his Natural life (be it Remembered the Rents and proceeds only to be given Annually the whole of the Principal be reserved and after his Decease my Will and desire is, the whole of that Estate do Devolve and go to then Survivors of my Own Children to be parted and among them) Also all the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate GoodsHousehold Goods and Implements of Household Stock of Corn Grain and Hay Cows Sheep Horses Carts Wagons Wains and all other my Utensils of Husbandry Debts Bonds Mortgagees in Fee or for Years Monies out at Use and Securities for Money Chattels Leases Effects and Personal Estate whatsoever or Wheresoever and of what nature kind or sort soever not before disposed of I give and Bequeath unto my said Wife To and for her Sole Use and Benefit and to dispose of in her lifetime or at her Deceased by Will or Otherwise in my Family as a she shall judge most meet and right And lastly I do hereby make constitute and Appoint my said Wife Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament herebyrevoking all former Wills by me by me heretofore made And likewise I desire that my Worthy Friend Mr Thomas Cole shall be Appointed and put in Trust to see that this my Will shall be punctually Observed and done According to the true Intent and meaning of the same.
