This is the last Will and Testament of me Benjamin Tarry the elder of Paulerspury in the County of Northampton Yeoman I give and devise unto my wife Ann Tarry my? house garden and premises in Paulerspury aforesaid in the occupation of Thomas Ward Saddler To hold unto and to the use ofmy said wife her heirs and assigns forever and I give and devise unto my son Benjamin Tarry all those my two closes of freehold land nearly adjoining the said house and premises at the back? thereof and containing about six acres commonly called Longcroft now in my own occupation To hold unto and to the use of my said son his heirs and assigns forever subject nevertheless as to the said two closes to the payment thereout of one annuity or yearly sum of ten pounds unto my said wife for and during the term of her natural life And I give and bequeath all my household goods and furniture plate linen chinabooks pictures and prints unto my said wife for her own sole and absolute use and benefit and I give and bequeath all my live and dead farming stock crops implements of husbandry corn grain and generally all matters and things pertaining to the Farm which I now occupy after and subject to the payment thereout of all my just debts rent and arrears of rent (if any) and funeral and testamentary expenses unto my said son for his own sole and absolute use and benefit and I give and bequeath the legacy or sum of two hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to each of my three daughters Mary Margaret and Eleanor to be paid to them or my executrix and executors herein-after named with all convenient speed after my decease and I give and bequeath unto my said wife the legacy or sum of three hundred pounds of like lawful money to be paid to her by my Executrix and Executors hereinafter named with all convenient speed after my decease and as to for and concerning all the Resi-dual and Remainder of my real and personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath the same as follows namely one moiety or equal half part thereof unto my said son Benjamin Tarry his heirs executors and administrators absolutely and the other moiety or equal half part thereof unto and equally amongst the six person following namely my said wife and my five daughters Ann the wife of Edward Grimsdick Elizabeth the wife of Charles Scriven? and the said Mary Margaret and Eleanor Tarry to be equally divided between and among them share and share alike as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and to their several and respective heirs executors and administrators and I nominate con-stitute and appoint my said wife Ann Tarry and my said Son Benjamin Tarry and the said Edward Grimsdick joint Executrix andExecutors of this my will and I hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Benjamin Tarry the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty ninth day of March in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four Benjamin Tarry (LS) Signed sealed published and declared made and acknowledged by the said Benjamin Tarry the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who are all present at the same time and have subscribed Our names as witnesses thereto in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other James Grimsdick ?
