I William Sawbridge of East Haddon in the County of Northampton Esquire make this last Will and Testament as follows that is to say I give to my Wife Mary Sawbridge the sum of one thousand pounds to be paid to her within Twelve Calendar months next after my decease and subject to and charged with the payment thereof and also subject to and charged with the payment of all my just Debts and funeral and Testamentary expences and legacies I give and devise all my real estates at East Haddon aforesaid and all my other real Estates whatsoever and wheresoever and also all my Personal Estate property and Effects whatsoever and of what nature kind or description soever the same may be unto and to the use of my Son Henry Barne Sawbridge his heirs executors admors and assigns (according to the different natures or qualities of the same estates respectively)for his her and their own absolute use and benefit Provided my said Son shall be living at my death But if my said Son Henry Barne Sawbridge shall happen to die in my lifetime leaving any Child or Children or issue of his body living or in Ventre sa mere at my decease then I give devise and bequeath then I give devise and bequeath all and singular my said real and personal estates and effects respectively unto and to the use of my the first second third and all and every other the Son and sons of the body of him the said Henry Barne Sawbridge severally successively and in remainder one after another in order and course as they shall respectively be in seniority of age and of the several and respective heirs of the body and bodies of such Son and Sons lawfully issuing the elder of such Sons and the heirs male of his and their body issuing always to be preferred and to take before the younger of them and the heirs male of his and their body issuing and for default of such issue then unto and to the use of the heirs of the body of the said Henry Barne Sawbridge lawfully issuing Provided always nevertheless and my Will is that no part of my said Personal Estate property or effects shall by virtue of or under the devise or Limitations aforesaid or any of them vest absolutely or ultimately in any child of the body of my said Son Henry Barne Sawbridge unless or until such child shall attain the age of twenty one years or depart this life under that age leaving issue of his or her body inheritable to the estate .....of such child and in any case my said son shall happen to die in my lifetime and without leaving any Child or issue of his body living or in Ventre sa mere at the time of my decease then I devise bequeath and dispose of all my said real and personal Estates respectively in the manner following (that is to say) I give to my said Wife the sum of Five Thousand Pounds to be Paid to her within Twelve Calendar months after my decease in lieu of the said Sum of one thousand pounds hereinbefore given her and Subject to and charged with the said Sum of Five thousand pounds and also subject to and charged with the payment of my Debts funeral and Testamentary expences and other legacies I give devise and bequeath all and singular my said real and personal estates and effects respectively unto and to the use and for the benefit of my brother The Reverend Henry Sawbridge of Wickham in the County of Berks and his heirs executors admors and assigns respectively according to the different natures or qualities thereof and I appoint my said Son (if he shall survive me) the sole Executor of this my Will But if my said son shall die in my lifetime then I appoint my said Brother to be sole Executor of this my Will and I hereby revoke all former Wills by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven _ Wm Sawbridge (Attestation Clause) Thos Atkinson _ Thos Johnson _ Thos Farrer Proved at London 4 November 1836 PCC Prob11/1869
