In the Name of God Amen I Richard Barefoot of Little Brington in the parish of Great 
Brington in the County of Northampton Servant being in a tolerable good State of 
bodily health and of a Sound and disposing mind memory and understanding 
(Praised be God for the same) Considering the frailty of human nature the certainty 
of Death and the uncertainty of the time thereof Do therefore make and declare this 
alone to be my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First All 
that my Close of Pasture or inclosed Ground with the rights members and 
appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lying and being in Little Brington 
aforesaid and now or late in the tenure or occupation of William Kenning his assigne 
or assignes And also all other my real estates whatsoever and wheresoever within 
the Kingdom of Great Britain I give devise and bequeath unto my Mother Alice 
Bosworth the Wife of William Bosworth of Little Brington aforesaid Labourer and to 
her Heirs and Assign To the sole only and absolute use and behoof of my said 
Mother Alice Bosworth and of her Heirs and Assigns for ever Also all and singular my 
Goods Chattells debts bonds money and securities for money Effects and personal 
Estate whatsoever and of what nature sort or kind soever I Give and bequeath unto 
my said Mother Alice Bosworth and to her Executors Administrators and assigns she 
and they thereout paying all my just debts my Funeral expences and the charges of 
proving this my Will Also I do hereby Nominate constitute and appoint my said 
Mother Alice Bosworth Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby 
revoking and making void all former Will and Wills by me heretofore made And I do 
declare this alone to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said 
Testator Richard Barefoot have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and 
seal the Twenty ninth day of April In the Year of our Lord One thousand seven
