NRO Ref W 220. Will dated 13th June 1600 and 14th November 1600. Probate 22nd February 1600 In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth WARCUST of Lewes Weedon being sick in body but of perfect memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First I bequeath my soul unto the almighty god, my maker and my body to be buried in the earth from whence it was taken. Item, I give unto either of my four sons, everyone two platters a piece and unto John and Edward every of them one coffer and unto every of my sons one pot and unto John the great pan, and unto my daughter Mary the black hilling, one coverlet. Item, I give unto Mary a mattress and a bolster and four pairs of sheets and four table napkins. The residue of all my goods and cattell unbequeathed I give unto my son Richard, my debts being paid and funeral discharged whom I make my whole and full Executor of this my last will and testament.
