Will dated 26th May 1610. Probate 25th Ju1y 1610. Anno Domini. 1610. May 26 die. In the name of God Amen. I Thomas WILLES of Weston in the parish of Weedon Pinckney als Loyze Weedon in the county of Northampton, yeoman, being weak in body but of good and perfect memory thanks be given unto god for it, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First, I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty god, god the father, god the son, and god the holy ghost, and my body to be buried in the earth from whence it was taken. Item, I give and bequeath unto the parish church of Loyze Weedon 12d. Item, I give and bequeath unto my son John the eldest 12d provided that the one half of my goods and chattles movable and unmovable I have given unto my son John WILLES heretofore by a Deed, All which goods were delivered unto him at that time except some certain things which were left as standard of the house. Of the which said standards my son John WILLES hath had some of them delivered unto him, as namely two beds and one bedstead and one coffer which was his mothers. Item, I give and bequeath unto my son Henry WILLES if he be living, 12d. Item, I give and bequeath unto Thomas WILLES my son 12d. Item, I give and bequeath unto Agnes SAUNDERS my daughter, 12d. Item, I do give and bequeath unto Amy TYMES my daughter, 12d. Item, I do give and bequeath unto Mary HALLE my daughter, 12d. Item, I give and bequeath unto Joan BENBOWE my daughter, 12d. Item, I give and bequeath unto Joyce BOWLEY my daughter, 12d. Item, I give and bequeath unto Ellen KELOY my daughter, 12d. All which said sums I will to be paid unto each of them within one year next after my decease. Item, I give and bequeath unto the poor of the parish 4d to be distributed unto them at the discretion of my Executrix.
