I Richard SANDERS of Weston in the parish of Weedon Pinckney of whole mind and perfect memory make my last will and testament in form following. First I bequeath my soul to god and to our Lady Saint Mary and all the holy company of heaven and my body to be buried in the church yard of Weedon near John PETYVER, and I give to my brother Thomas SAUNDERS a cow with a milk calf, half the rack hay in the yard, a plate of the best serving too, and I give to John SAUNDERS my brother a young cow, the best ewe and lamb that I have, the worst hogsell, one brass pot, the best pan, a bolster, a pair of sheets, the best coffer with a book, the next best platter, a blanket, a swerd girdell, and a skin doublet. Also I give to my brother Robert SAUNDERS a mare, the best hogsell, a whipsaw, the best kettle, three part of my towels, the best shete saving 3 and a cut of barley that I had of George TAYLOR, and I give to Ale daughter to Robert SAUNDERS child a hogsell, and I give to my sister Elisabeth ERBURNE a sheet, a plate and ashe coffer, and I give to William SAUNDERS my brother a table, a bread table, a plate dish, a kettle, a cockerill, half a rack of hay in the yard, a cabcart that is in making, a plough and all my ploughing timber, and I give to Richard KING of Soulgrave my godson a gryoned thaeve hog, and I give to Warkworth church 20 pence, to poor people [of] Helmdon 10 shillings 1 penny, the church [of] Weedon Pinckney 10 shillings 2 pence, John ATKINS must pay for the sled best boarded 10 shillings, also I give to John COWILLES a?, a hand ? one part of my towels, a axe that he woodeth with, a chopping axe, the best bedstead, a table, a bench, a form, a cupboard and I make sole executor William LINAS my brother in law and I make my overseers of my will to [see] that this my last will performed, John ATKINS of Weston and George TAYLOR of the same, the rest of my goods not bequeathed, my debts paid, my burial done and my legacies performed I give to William LINAS my said Executor.
