I Randal SUTTON of Weston in the parish of Weedon Pinckney of hole mind and perfect remembrance make my last will in form ensuing. First, I bequeath my soul to god, our Lady St Mary and all the company of heaven and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Weedon above said with my first wife by the chancel. Also I bequeath to my wife Jone SUTTON 2 mares, 2 of the biggest draving bullocks 2 kine afterryde and a brown oxe calf a weind, a ewe and a lamb staying at home. The pile of wood standing at the hog stye end and that wood standing about the hovel in the yard, a pearling cow calf the best. And my wife shall have all the goods that she brought with her beside the premises. Also I give to Richard SUTTON my son, a gelding, a mare with a colt, 2 of the best draving bullocks, 2 oxon bullocks that did never draw, a red cow, 3 couple of ewes and lambs that be at home, the hovel with the other wood lying in the yard and that in the street. Also I give to Margaret SUTTON my daughter a black heifer and a red, a black weining calf, a cart not banded, the best cart of the 2, a new bolster with a bed, a brass pan that I bought, 2 potts that her mother gave her and a yearling cow and a calf And I give to Thomas SUTTON half a quarter of malt. Also I give to Thomas WARKWORTHE the younger a weining cow calf Also I give to my godchildren every of them, a lamb. Also I give to Richard BALL [BULL] a sheep. The rest of my sheep shall remain equally between my wife Jone SUTTON and Margaret SUTTON my daughter. Also the cart gear with the ploughing and the ploughing gear shall be equally divided between Jone, my wife and Richard SUTTON my son. Item, I give to Peterborough church 2 pence. Item, to Thomas MAYO half a quarter of mault. Also at my burial I will have 3 priest, And at my monthly mynd I will have half a quarter of wheat and haIf a quarter of mault distributed amongst the parish of Weedon for my soul and all Christian souls.
