I John HINTON of Weston in the parish of Weedon in the county of Northampton being sick in body but of perfect memory do make this my last will and testament, in the name of the father, and of the son and of the holy ghost Amen. Imprimis, I do give and bequeath my soul to almighty god and my body to be buried in the churchyard in the earth from whence it was taken. Item, I do give unto Henry DAVY one of the best ewes and lambs. Item, I do give unto Joan HINTON daughter to Henry HINTON one ewe and lamb. Item, I do give unto Thomas HOLMES one ewe and lamb. Item, I do give unto John HINTON son unto James HINTON one ewe and lamb. Item, I do give unto John MAYO son unto Sisly BALLARD one ewe and lamb. Item, I do give unto Joan HINTON daughter of Henry HINTON £4 lOs. Item, I do give unto James HINTON his three children £4 lOs a piece Item, I do give unto Sisly BALLARD her three children £4 lOs a piece Item, I do give unto Mary HOLMES her four children £4 lOs a piece Item, I do give unto Joan DAVY her five children £4 lOs a piece And my will is that this money shall be put forth to use for the children and that their parents shall have the use of this money so long as they live and at the death of my sister Sisly her children to have their money presently. Item, I do give unto the poor of Weedon Weston 20s. The same to be bestowed at the discresion of my executors and Richard KENINGE and Richard HOWSE. Item, I do give unto Clement HILL of Falcut 5s. Item, I do give unto the those which carry me to church and that ring for me 50s Item, I do make my brother Henry HINTON and my brother James HINTON my whole executors of this my last will and testament and I do intreat thereof my well beloved friends to be overseers of this my will. Item, I do give unto my sister BALLARD's 3 children 40s, to be equally divided amongst them. Item, I do give my sister HOLMES in money four pounds and my best jurkin and a piece of new cloth and the board of a table, her providing me a shroud to hide my carcas in. Item, I do give unto Joan DAVY all the rest of my wearing clothes and my chest and my table frame and one weaning calf, and in money £50. Item, I do give unto my two sisters, these my two fliches of bacon. Item, I do give unto my executors half a years time after my decease to pay these portions to my brothers and sisters children.
