(Vol 12, p204, will 99) Grazier … dwelling house where now resides with orchard, bakehouse, cottage, yard, garden + messuage, outbuildings, garden, close called the Wold in Crick and occupied by his kinsman John Pike to his wife Alice Pike during her natural life and providing she does not remarry … on her marriage or death all the estate shall go to his son George William Pike and his friend John Cowley of Crick in trust to be sold and after payment of all debts and expenses … to his grandchildren Emma, Annie, William, Elizabeth, Thomas and John children of his late daughter Elizabeth Beacham, and to his grandson George son of his late daughter Ann Garret, £5 each … the rest divided equally amongst his children Thomas, George William, Edmund, and Catherine Cox … wife to have sufficient furniture and household goods to furnish the cottage and 6 calves … all debts and funeral expenses to be paid … all farming stock, implements, husbandry divided equally amongst his children previously mentioned … appoints his son George William Pike and his friend John Cowley of Crick his executors, and for this to John Cowley £5 … signed 15 Nov 1880.
