This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Walker of Saint Edmunds End in the Town of Northampton in the County of Northampton Gentleman in manner following (that is to say) I give and devise unto my my only Son John Walker All and every my Messuages Cottages Closes Meadows Lands Tenements Heriditaments and Real Estate whatsoever situate standing lying and being in the said Town of Northampton or elsewhere To Hold the same unto and to the use of my said Son John Walker his heirs and assigns forever Also I give and bequeath unto my said Son John Walker his executors administrators and assigns absolutely forever Subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debts Funeral Expences and the charges of proving this my Will And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son John Walker sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby revoke disannul and make void all former Wills and Codicils by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my true and whole last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Walker the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this eleventh day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two T Walker Witnesses Benjamin Smith T Lewis On the twenty third day of January 1843 the within named John Walker of the Town of Northampton Plaisterer the sole Executor named in the within written Will of Thomas Walker late of Saint Edmunds End in the same town & County Gentleman deceased was then sworn And that the said deceased at the time of his death (which happened on the 14th day of January instant) was not possessed of goods chattels and credits to the value of fifty pounds Northampton Record Office
