In the Name of God Amen I John Westly of Tiffield in the County of Northton carpenter being blessed be God of a sound Mind and Memory but considering the uncertainty of this Life and the Certainty of Death do make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and Forme following ffirst but principally I Resign my Soul to Almighty God my Creatour relying wholly on the meritorious death and passion of my blessed Redeemer for the remission of all my sins My Body I commit to decent buriall at the Discretion of my Exors herein after named and as for my Temporall Estate I Give and dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Son John Westly one shilling Item I give and bequeath unto my son George Westly one shilling Item I give and bequeath unto my Son James Westly all my Lands and Commons in the ffeilds of Tiffeild aforesaid with their and every of their Appurtenances to Hold to him his Heires and Assigns forever To the Intent that he my said Son James Westly his Heires or Assigns Doe and shall well and truely pay or cause to be paid out of the same unto my two Daughters Elizabeth Watworth and Mary Marriott the severall sums of fifty shillings apiece of good and Lawfull money of Great Britain twelve months next after my Decease Item I give unto my said son James Westly all my Carpenters tooles And lastly all the rest and residue of my Estate Goods and Chattles whatsoever unbequeathed my Debts Legacies and ffunerall Charges being ffirst fully paid and discharged I do give and Bequeath unto my two Daughters Elizabeth Watmore and Mary Marriott aforesaid And I hereby nominate and appoint my two sons in Law William Watworth and John Marriott sole Executors joyntly together of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby Revoke and dissannull all Other Wills and Testaments heretofore made or intended to be made and Declare this and no Other to be my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this sixth day of January in the ninth Year of the Reign of Our Sovreign Lady Anne by the grace of God of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland Queen Defender of the ffaith Anno Domini 1710/11 John Westly Witnesses Thomas Sturges George Joanes his marke John Sturges Northants Record Office
