This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Starkey of the 
Portsmouth in the County of Southampton  Widow made this forteenth 
day of December one thousand eight hundred and twenty three  first I 
direct that all my just debts Funeral expences and the charges of proving 
this my Will be fully paid and satisfied and subject to the payment thereof 
I give unto all the Children of my late Sister Hannah Ruston late of East 
Cowes in the Isle of Wight in the said County the sum of fifty pounds 
Sterling a piece to be paid them as soon as conveniently  can be after my 
decease  I give unto all the Children of my Nephew James Jolliff the sum 
of fifty pounds Sterling a piece to be paid them as soon as conveniently  
can be after my decease I give to Elizabeth Whitmarsh of the Parish of 
Whippingham in the Isle of Wight aforesaid the sum of sixty pounds 
Sterling  I give my Household Goods and Furniture ready money debts 
and Securities for money and all other my Personal Estate and effects 
whatsoever unto Elizabeth Dicker and I do nominate and appoint my 
Friends Thomas Garrett Charles Stanley and William Mitchell the 
younger Executors of this my Will and I give to each of my Executors the 
sum of twenty pounds In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand

I give unto my Grand Niece Eliza Dicken the sum of two hundred pounds 
Sterling and declare this to be Codicil to my Will and direct the same to be 
annexed to and taken as part thereof Witness my hand the day and year

Proved at London with a Codicil 22d March 1824 before the Worshipful 
John Danbeny Doctor of Laws & Surr.e by the Oaths of Thomas Garrett 
Charles Stanley & William Mitchell the younger the Exors to whom 
Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to adm.r.
