In the name of God Amen I Robert Barnes of Drayton in the parish of ffarlington 
in the County of Southton husbandman make this my last Will and Testament this 
twenty sixth Day of January in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred fiftye 
and three in manner and forme following First I bequeath my Soule to God whoe 
gave it and my body to the ground next I give and bequeath unto my brother John 
Barnes twenty shillings to be paid within twelve monthes after my decease I give and 
bequeath unto Simon Allams children twenty shillings Item I give unto Margaret 
Shambler twenty shillings Item I give unto the widow Rowdon twentye shillings Item 
I give and bequeath all the Rest of my Estate unto my brother Clement Barnes and 
make him my full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witnesse 
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale in the presence of John Oliver 
Robert Caute his marke Robert Barnes his marke
