In the Name of God Amen The three and twentieth day of October in the yeare of our 
Lord God one Thousand Six hundred Fifty and Seaven I Jane Dovey of Basingstoke 
in the county of Southton widdow beinge sicke and weake in body but of good and 
perfect mind and memory thanks be given to Allmighty God doe make this my last 
will and Testament in manner and forme following: First I commend my Soule into the 
hands of Allmighty God hopeinge and stedfastly beleivinge in and through the meritts 
of Christ Jesus my Saviour to bee made partaker of life everlastinge And my body to 
the earth from whence it came to be buried at the discretion of my executrix here 
after named As for the worldly goods wherewith the Lord hath endued me withall I 
give and dispose of in manner and forme followinge First I give and bequeath unto 
my Daughter Avis five pound to be paid within one moneth after my decease I give 
and bequeath to Richard Wateridge my Sonne twelve pence I give my Daughter 
Agnes Turpin twelve pence Item I give to my Sonne John Wateridge Forty shillings to 
be paid within one moneth after my decease I give him aloe my furnace Item I give 
unto his two children Sara and Mary tenn shillings apeece And I doe intreat and 
ordaine Margarett Wateridge my daughter my full and sole executrix of this my last 
will and Testament Seeinge this my will duely and timely performed In witnes
