This is the last Will and Testament of me William Cribb of Gosport in the Parish of 
Alverstoke in the County of Southampton Labourer as follows after payment of my 
just debts and funeral and testamentary expences I give devise and bequeath All 
those my two messuages and premises situate and being Numbers Nine and Ten in 
Albert Street near Soton in the parish of Alverstoke aforesaid And also all and 
singular my household goods and furniture and other my Personal Estate and effects 
of what nature sort or kind soever or whatsoever unto my Wife Elizabeth Cribb for her 
own use and benefit for and during the term of her natural life with permission to 
mortgage the said  two messuages and premises should she wish to do so and from 
and immediately after her decease I give devise and bequeath my said real and 
personal estate and effects unto my son William Thompson Cribb for his own use 
and benefit for and during the term of his natural life and from and immediately after 
his decease I give devise and bequeath my said real and personal estate and effects 
unto my daughter in law Caroline Cribb the wife of my said Son for her own use and 
benefit for and during the term of her natural life if she shall so long remain and 
continue single and unmarried and from and immediately after her decease or 
second marriage whichever shall first happen Then I give devise and bequeath the 
said  two messuages and premises and personal estate and effects unto and to the 
use of my grandson William Cribb (son of my said son)to and for his own use and 
benefit absolutely and for ever And I do hereby nominate and appoint William Paul 
the younger of Gosport aforesaid Baker and Grocer and Robert Moore of the same 
place Milkman Executors of this my last Will and Testament Witness my hand the 
nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty 
four
