England I William Hill of the parish of Bentworth in the county of Southton 
Yeoman being weake of Body but of Sound & perfect Mind & Memory praised be 
God for te Same do Make and ordaine This My Last Will and Testament in Manner 
and fform ffollowing  VIZ 
 
First I bequeath My Soule into the ands of Allmighty God my Maker hopeing 
through the Merits Death and Passon of Jesus Christ my Redeemer To Receve 
full and free parden and forgiveness of all my Sins and to inherit 
Everlasting Life and my Body I Commit to the Earth To be Decently Burried in 
Christian Buriall att the discretion of my Executors hereafter Named and as 
for my Temporal Estate I give and Dispose as followet: First I Will that my 
Debts & funeral Charges Shall be paid and discharged~~~~~~ 
 
Item: I give to my son William Twenty pounds 
Item: I give to my son James Twenty pounds 
Item: I give to my son John Twenty pounds 
Item: I give to my Daughter Ann ffifteen pounds 
Item: I give to my Daughter Jane's Two Children five pounds To be Equally 
devided Between Them 
all the rest of my Lands houses goods and chattles I give unto my Two Sons 
William and James upon condittion they shall pay all my Debts and att the 
full End of Twelve Months after my decease and A day they Shall pay all My 
Legacies Making the sd William & James Hill full and Sole Executors of This 
My Last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke disannul and Make Void all 
former Wills and Testaments whatsoever by me heretofore Made in Witness 
whereof I the sd William Hill have hereunto Made in Witness whereof I the sd 
William Hill have hereunto sett my hand and Seal the 16th day of May 1719
