In the name of God, Amen the 17th day of April Anno Domini 1567 I JOHN EARLE of the pish 
of Bramshott in the county of South. being in perfect remembrance thanked be God do make and 
ordain this my last will and Testament in forme and manner following. First I bequeath my soul 
to Almighty God my Passion and Redeemer and to all the holy company of heaven. And my 
body to be buried within my pish Church yard of Bramshott. Item I give to the Cathedral Church 
of Winchester 3d. Item I give to the poor mens box within my pish Church of Bramshott 3d. Item 
I give to the Repation of the bells of Bramshott 3d. Item I give to ROBART my son 1 heifer of 3 
years of Age and 2 Lambs. Item I give to my Daughter JONE 1 heifer of 2 years of Age. And 1 
sheep. The which 2 heifers 2 Lambs and 1 sheep to be delivered to the said ROBART and JONE 
when they shall come to the Age of 17 years. The residue of all my goods not given and 
bequested my Debts being paid I give and bequeath to JONE my wife whom I make my whole 
Executrix of this my Last will and testament. Also I make and ordain EDMUND BOXOLD to be 
my overseer to see that my last will and Testament fulfilled and ? inforemed according to my 
true meaning. And due to him  for his Labours 1 Lamb. Witnessed JOHN COLPAS and 
ROBART BOXOLD together in this.
