In the Name of God Amen. I Henry Earl of Petersfield in the County of Southton 
Staymaker being sick in body but of sound mind and memory (thanks be to God) And 
calling to mind the uncertainty of this transitory life and that all flesh must die Do make 
and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say Imprimis I 
will that my just debts and funeral charges shall be first satisfied and paid Item I give 
and bequeath unto my loving Brother Thomas Earl one guinea And Lastly All the rest of 
my goods chattells money and personal Estate whatsover I give to my loving wife Alice 
whom I appoint sole Executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all 
former wills and testaments by me hereafore made in writing or otherwise heresoever. 
In witness whereof I the said Henry Earl have to this my last Will and Testament set my 
hand and Seale this Eighth day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven 
Hundred and Twenty and Two and in the Eighth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord 
King George over great Britain
