In the name of God Amen
I William Earell of East Tisted in the County of Southampton being sick of body but in 
good memory thanks be to God do this fourteenth day of June 1661 make and ordain 
this my last will and testament in manner and forme following. First I commit my soule to 
God who gave it and my body to be buried in Christian Buriall: and for my worldly goods 
I dispose of them as is hereafter mentioned. Imprimis I give to my Daughter Joane wife 
of George Mathew twenty pounds. Item I give to my Daughter Mary ten pounds. Item I 
give to my daughter Anne ten pounds. Item I give to my Sonne William ten pounds. Item 
I give to my Sonne Edward ten pounds, all such Legacies are to be paid by my 
Executors hereafter mentioned that is my daughter Joane to be paid her twenty pounds 
within two years after my decease, my daughter Mary to be paid her ten pounds within 
three years after my decease, my daughter Anne to be paid her ten pounds within four 
years after my decease, my sonne William to be paid his ten pounds within five years 
after my decease, my sonne Edward to be paid his ten pounds within five years after my 
decease: for the rest of my goods and chattels I give to Joane my loving wife and to my 
sonne John whom I make Executors of this my last will and Testament. I do direct my 
brother Robert Earell and my brother John Earell to be witnesses of this my last will and 
testament.
