Jacqueline J Lidbury - Miss Woking 1973

 Miss Jacqueline 'Jackie' Libury, aged 16, was the Carnival Queen for Woking's fifth Whirl, in July 1973.  Her two attendants were Jennifer Steele, and Lynn Russell.  The ladies were dressed for the day by Just Sue and Susan Gay.

Jackie beat twenty other finalists to win the competition.  As her prize for winning the competition, Jackie received a holiday for two in Majorca (worth £50) arranged by Gray's World Travel Ltd. 

In 1974, Jackie was runner-up in the Guildford Show carnival queen competition.
