Miss Michelle Bean, a 17-years old
who worked for an estate agent, was the Carnival Queen for Woking's
fourteenth Whirl, in July 1982. Her prize for beating the other
seventeen finalists was a holiday for two in Paris. Her two Whirl attendants were Trudy Moorey and Susan Burgoyne. Hair: Honey-blonde Eyes: Blue Height: 5' 9" Vitals: 36-24-36 From 1974 onwards, the Woking Whirl had a different theme each year. In 1982, the theme was children; part of the show was the choosing of 'Miss Junior Woking'. The winner was five years old Kirsten Farquar (seen pictured below with Michelle). |
